Director of Public Relations
As Director of Public Relations for the Prince George's Community College Student Governance Association, Marcel has gained hands on experience in marketing, effective communication, proposal writing, event planning, and utilizing social media strategically. Duties of his position include:

Serving as a liaison between the student body and SGA

Maintaining SGA's social media networks and increasing social media engagement

Planning and executing SGA-sponsored events and activities

Developing marketing and public relations plans for SGA

Designing flyers and other forms of communications to promote SGA events and activities

Serving as a webmaster for SGA's and College Life Services' webpages on MyPGCC Portal

Writing proposals for proposed SGA initiatives related to marketing or social media

Responsible for direct oversight of the SGA Street Team
Student Delegate for College-Wide Forum
As Student Delegate for the Prince George's Community College College-Wide Forum, Marcel has gained hands on experience in governance and is involved in the decision making process at Prince George's Community College. The College-wide Forum of Prince George's Community College is a deliberative and broadly representative body which exists to recommend general policies and procedures to the College President. Specific duties of this position include:
